How do I get a current HOA statement or a resale certificate?

We do not issue statements or certificates — they are not required. All properties are current on dues for 2026. Contact the Treasurer (homepage footer) to confirm a property remains current thereafter; that can be confirmed in writing, then pay the applicable transfer fee (see the next question).

What are the HOA transfer fees?

$100 payable to River Bend Planning Committee. There are no refinance fees. Mail to (and make payable to):

River Bend Planning Committee 7618 River Point Drive Houston, TX 77063

Are there costs for Architectural Review Committee (ARC) reviews?

Yes. Any submission for ARC review — new construction or modifications — is accountable for all fees the ARC incurs, including outside professional architect fees, plus a $100 fee for the ARC.

Where do I get an Architectural Review Committee (ARC) application?

There are no formal applications. Abide by the by-laws and submit plans to the River Bend ARC. Plans reviewed by the ARC require a $500 fee paid in advance (used to reimburse our architect for compliance review). Pay River Bend Planning Committee and send payment to the Treasurer (homepage footer).

What are the annual HOA dues?

$750 (2026) due April 1 of the current year. Payment window is February 15–April 1. A late fee is assessed on April 2 if unpaid.

What is the status of the account at a specific address?

As of April 1, 2026, all homes in River Bend are current.

What are the high school boundaries applicable to River Bend?

School zoning can change — confirm with the district. Use Ask on the homepage for the latest notes we have, or see the Schools page.

What are the construction site guidelines in Hunter's Creek?

See the construction hours and ARC notes in the Residents FAQ, plus the Architectural Guidelines under Articles & By-Laws. Hunter's Creek building regulations also apply.

What are the rules for installation of a generator?

As long as it is to the side of or behind the house, the River Bend HOA is generally fine with it. Hunter's Creek has additional location and operation rules (Sec. 44-166): generators may be installed in District R for backup power when normal service is unavailable; they are not required to meet accessory-structure setbacks except as noted; none in a front yard or in front of the front line of the residence; operate only when power is out or for maintenance/repair; follow manufacturer recommendations; enclosures other than sound attenuation count as accessory structures; and sound must be reduced as far as reasonably possible.

Are realtor signs / flags permitted in River Bend?

Check River Bend covenants and Hunter's Creek sign rules before posting. Political campaign signs have specific size and removal rules (see the Residents FAQ). For realtor/for-sale signage, use Ask on the homepage or contact the Planning Committee (homepage footer).
